Very nice closeup...
and your luck is better than you thought too.
That's actually a female Pine Warbler (Setophaga pinus). ;)

I don't know much about them either, but I like to study them up close. Probably like most people- one rarely gets the chance to do so. Humming birds are a favorite of mine to see photos of. ;) It only takes a feeder for the birds and a bottle of wine for the photographer! :D

Life is funny, sometimes, you can trip over a real money maker on a subject like this! ;)

If you want the local guy's name, I can get it for you. He might be online so you can see what he does. Basically bird photos like this and people eat it up!

This photo done and framed by him would go for $50.00 a pop all day long around here!

Of course- He is well known around here and I think it has become a bragging thing in one's house.

I really appreciate the encouragement and suggestion. Have been out of work 2 years and am struggling to find an alternate source of income. Acutally started with photography because it was something I could afford to do (read didn't cost anything),meet new friends, and got me out of the house (was hitting borderline agorophbia). Will take a step out and make a print and see if it sells. THANKS AGAIN!

It’s very easy to get down on yourself when that happens. I feel REALLY bad for people that let a job title control their self worth. I know a lot of them too.

A person should fell about themselves (and be viewed by others) the same no matter if they are a CEO or between jobs.

I would do what you are doing, and try many new things that you enjoy. Many- Many millionaires were out of a job when they tripped on an idea that hit it big! ;)

I'm not much of a birder. From what I've read, if this is a pine warbler she was out of her winter range.
